lyrics

Hiding in the unknown
Sleeping in stone
Then I heard a lucid sound and found you
Soaring high above
Fly low, my love
And take me away

You showed me the door
To your garden of war
And then you turned your back and that was that
My precious flower
The sweet, the sour
The bitter intent

We must dance with self-defeat
As the world collapses far beneath
We only see hallucinations

Visions of future past
Lying, beyond my grasp
Creating disasters of all that falls
Into my transient hands
This circumstance
Reflecting no time

What everyone knows is wrong
(We only see hallucinations)

Prefabricated crimes
New paradigms
Psychotic belief in who we follow
Naked and blind
Hoping to find
A different kind
Of faith and hope and love and sorrow

We must dance with self-defeat
As the world collapses far beneath
We only see hallucinations

What everyone knows is wrong
(We only see hallucinations)
